From a tiny seed great plants can grow.

Into the ground i plant my seed,

Water, heat and time you need,

Up you come,

From the earth you grow,

How tall you get,

Only time will know,

It amazes me,

How quick you can appear,

Rising on up,

Without any fear,

Love and nurture makes you larger and tall,

With wind and rain you refuse to fall,

So time goes by and you  start to flower,

Holding a fragrance with grace and power,

But days roll by and you wither and fade,

You leave the ground with a push of my spade,

But a season goes by and you set your seed,

And in the coming months your legacy will breed.

Lovely work. We are in the middle of putting in the bedding plants. I am looking forward to a colourful summer.

oh the cycle of heartbreak, when the plant grows then dies and we do it all over again…but soooo addictive huh?
