Hey Jesus!
Jesus…If you can hear me I need your help!
I don’t know what to say or to do at this time
See…
I’ve passed through my blood to my own child of mine
My love and thirst to live and commit crime
I’ve stolen everything in my day from hearts
To my grandmother’s last nickel and dime
I hid from you in the past
And the people who follow me don’t even know it
The wrongs that I do is so buried under so much dirt
If I wanted to I couldn’t even show it
But I know you see it
The fornication I’ve committed
The women I’ve beaten
The Hennessey everyday
A little weed on the weekend
You gave me Eve,
But with Jezebel, Delilah, and Ms. Magdalene I am sleeping
Been a liar all my life
So in front of my wife…
I pretend to do work in the church when really I am creeping
Being a rolling stone
Where ever I lay my hat is my home
“And When I Die…”
Well I’m…asking for your help before I do
I want to do right and live life like you
I just can’t catch the metaphor
And though I’ve fallen 7 plus times
A word from your Father
Told me I need to get up 7 more
And that word came on that glorious day
When I was flipping through Proverbs
And stopped on the 16th verse of chapter 24
I fall in sin
You pull me out
I fall again
You still love me with out a doubt
They say the wages of sin was death
And I believe it to be true
Cause I’m standing here out of my mind
I’m blind without a clue of what to do
That’s why I’m crying…
Jesus…I need you
Please…don’t pass my by!!
