Love and hate go hand in hand.

Alone, I see you there

Examining every fiber of your being.

You are unpredictable, yet I walk on familiar ground.

The caution signs consipcuously flash in front of me,

But I deny to listen;

I decline to know I was a fool in love.

Fate leads me to walk the reluctant path

And I take a bite into the poison apple.

It intoxicates me,

Poisons my mind,

Yet I love the taste.

Your drug is addicting,

No matter how much I want to stop.

Look into my eyes and you will see the sullen girl;

Feel my touch and you will feel uncertainty.

Alone I see you there

Examining every fiber of your being,

But I can’t seem to notice her by your side.

    I thought this was well written. I liked the descriptions in this poetry, created a vivid picture in my mind.
