Cat stalking.
Poem-Africa in my Garden
Stalker in silence you watch your prey
Hiding behind a plant in my garden
Silent and still
You watch you’re prey with fixed eyes
You watch you’re prey with a gleam in your eyes
A good morsel for me you think
I see a foot barely move
Then another as you ready
Just a few feet away your prey eats peacefully
Your stillness only you can do
You make your dash
To no avail
Now you lay in the sun
Sunning yourself
Thinking about nothing other than yourself
You naughty ginger tabby
