My owner starved me

Said the Labrador to the bobtail

They left me in the sun, chained

Behind a fence, so I became invisible

But the neighbor next door, hadn’t forgotten

And came to play

But I was to weak, and they carried me away

If they could see me now, they’d love me again.

My family found a new home

Said the bobtail to the Lab

I’ve wandered for months, lost

Looking for my family, in vain

Fought with a fox, and even a crow

Broken and torn

I almost died; I could not walk any more

But I was found, and they healed my sores
