This is about dealing with personalities not similar to you and trying to understand their operating system.
There was a choice to make.
The decision could be life threatening.
You have to jump to go across.
Or you could either stay where you are.
Or wait indefinitely for something to happen.
You were the most desperate to be on the other side.
Though there were unknowns.
Dangerous fishes and water animals.
The length which could be more than anyone could survive.
The fear of going too far beyond the point of no return.
I finally took a plunge all by myself.
You saw me fighting the water.
Barely keeping myself from being drowned.
Trying to figure out the way to swim out.
Somehow able to afloat if not fully come out.
You did not stretch your hand.
You did not run around to find a fallen branch.
Breaking a branch is too much to expect.
You did not even scream for help.
You are standing there lecturing.
Do you know how it feels like to be there?
With water above your head.
Frantic Hands freezing with cold water.
Eyes burning and head heavy.
Legs exhausted pushing hard your body out to breathe.
You stand outside and you think you are inside.
You laugh of the folly of making the jump at the first place.
Then you feel chuckle your wise decision of staying where you are.
You justify yourself as if you knew everything.
May be you sprinkled some drops or made your feet wet.
Gradually I saw you further small & small.
I called for you the last time.
I could not hear you anymore.
I waved my hand for you to join me.
Then I could see only water around me.
May be I will never be seen or heard.
Sad part is could we ever meet to share our stories.
I’m going to miss your company & wisdom.
I wish you were with me in the waves.
Goodbye the perfect bystander.
