An excercise in acrostics.
When cold had passed away
Her garment of gray
Against
The winter’s sky
Anon
Begotten of a seed
Easily overlooked
And buried alive
Until such a time and
Temperature should
Infuse rebirth
Feelings of life
Understood at
Last within
For if the world walked by
Laughing, or crying
Once, or a thousand times
Who indeed might
Even acknowledge the
Restlessness beneath
Its
Stirring
To awaken in joy
Heaven’s gift to
Every man that sees
‘Raptured and
Overwhelmed my heart and
Soul in your petals’
Embrace
