Just a toy.

I am walking a lonely road

no desire to run

no desire to move

my limbs are strung

my head is taut

the motion is involuntary

without need, without thought

he is my master

my life in motion as he pleases

without emotion

a puppet for his satisfaction

I’m just the toy of his imagination

Miss S…I wonder how many more of us a marionettes (puppets on a string)? Enjoyed this work. Thanks.
    Edit…
“my head is taught…” should be “my head is taut…”

Very good. I began to see him pulling the strings as the poem developed. I have some scissors for you if you want … check out (connect the dots) tell me what you think.
