Yesterday.

There they both were,

John Lennon and Yoko Ono

on the retro-television music station.

The band was playing “Cold Turkey,”

a song about drug withdrawal.

I always liked that song

although in my youth

my drug of choice was beer

as it still is.

For a moment I sat quietly at my workstation

and watched.

Yoko was beating on a drum.

When the song was over

I got back to work.

The End

Don’t forget the British we got rid of 75% of the Aborigines.
A higher intelligence will always destroy a lesser one.

…For some reason, I found this very funny. But I still miss John. Great artist. Thanks.

In that picture, they were so young and romantic. A pity it ended as it did. Although I believe they had gotten off track before he was killed.

John was my favorite of the Beatles. How sad that it ended as it did. I never cared for Ono. I thought she brought him down.
