Poem “Life Taken Away”

It’s hard to lose someone close to you in life, but keep in mind they are now safe from the pain of this world.

Life Taken Away

Left this world without a trace

Tears wiped clean off my face

It didn’t have to end like this

Why did they have to do this

Innocent lives taken away

From their families

Thrown away

Their souls were taken to a better place

Away from the fighting of human disgrace

And we have to stay strong

Even though they’ve done us wrong

I don’t belong

On this earth with you gone

I never got to say goodbye

Why did you have to be the one to die

Good job, I enjoyed your work. We all lose our loved ones I lost my Dad 2 years ago. I wrote a poem, He Sleeps With Angels. At least I’d like to think he is sleeping with angels. Thanks for the share.
