Where is my muse?

Image via Wikipedia

The blank screen mocks.

The words do not come.

The news on the radio depresses.

Then standing in the shower

and raising the plastic bottle of

Pepsi Wild Cherry to his lips,

he felt a tap on the shoulder.

Don’t turn around, she said.

I’ll do your back.

A shower is always better with a lover to share it. Enjoyed this one.

I read a lot of romances my sister gives me, but I think your romances on here are better
One time I thought I would surprise my sister and buy her a romance. My sister read it and I read and could not believe how dirty it was. My aunt still says she can’t believe she read that book..

Yeah, so, where is your muse? lol Is it the blank screen that calls? Is it the radio? The shower? The bottle of pepsi? lol…

I like to think that there is no such thing as “Writer’s Block”, just a lack of writer’s flow. When my streams begin to trickle, I turn to the entertainment world, where the ideas are myriad and variegated. I just pluck one or two from other sources then I play the “What if…?” game or I might find a dozen words that share the same mood or topic. I find it very hard to lose inspiration.

Good luck though. Thanks for sharing.
