This is a response my girlfriend and I had made to respond to a poem but cant really remember what it was called..
.
So me dying made you glad?
I guess you didn’t know what you had,
So you prefer me hanging on the wall,
For people to admire whilst walking down the hall,
Now listen here you fool,
I ignored you because you treated me like a tool,
Who is this girl you’re about to marry?
Will she hold the son you wanted me to carry?
Yes I wore make up and such things to look pretty,
But everyone looked at me and said “What a pity!”
You call me disrespectful, annoying and flirty,
All I really wanted was your attention but you just made me feel dirty,
I see you think you’re as powerful as Neptune,
Taming anything as big as the moon,
If you’re brand new wife is like me,
Will you send your precious guards to slay her or would you let her be free?
All the flirting and cheating was something you just assumed,
Which then resulted in me being doomed,
It’s your fault I flirted with others,
You never gave me the attention that was sought from lovers,
You really did break my heart,
I always loved you from the very start,
Sending your guards was the wrong choice,
I shall haunt you as you celebrate with the new voice,
So me dying made you glad?
Well guess what, you’re just like your dad.
