Doing the jester dance!
The Fool
Am I to be my lady’s jester once again?
Smiling like a fool, dancing my way
She still doesn’t believe me
Shuffling my feet and reciting a song
I dance like the foolish romantic I am
Dance fool! Is what she commands
Nodding I keep on going
For there is no end to this song
My heat is filled with worthless lust
Forever yearning for my lady’s heart
And so day and night I play the fool
The jester is in my lady’s hand
Right beside the Queen of hearts
