When I woke up early this morning

I heard the sound of the birds singing

While I was still laying in  bed I starting thinking

Why is the world in so much  in turnoil today?

There is so much crime and killing

Families have stopped caring and loving one another

Young  teens girls are disobedient their mothers

More and more people are dying in the world today from untreated diseases

Because they do have any health insurance to cover the fees

Today many people today are losing their homes

Because some of them  have lost their jobs and can’t afford to pay their loans

Young teenager girls are having babies

And raising them without any help from their dadies

Today fathers and mothers are off fighting in the war

Leaving their children with their parents or grandparents to care for

Gays are fighting to be legally married to one another

While lots of straight people do want to get married, they just want to live together

We the people of the United States of America should feel blessed

To have a President Barack Obama who’s striving  hard to get us out of this mess
