HOW TO READ A MAP BY POEM.
Poetic map reading
I have geographic eyes
And I have geographic mind
With these geographic organs
I can always read a map
As geographic information
Are depicted by the map
Map is to a geographer
As plan is to architect
Each map must have a title
As proper name of it
All features of good map
Summarized just above
My compass justifies this
As key unlock the map
My seal tells me the distance
As frame beautifies the map
To determine any features
Geographers use the map
For classroom in structure
Geographers use the map
My head is my north
And my legs are my south
My left is my west
And my right is my east
To determine all directions
Geographers use map
To determine all distances
Geographers use map
