An Egomania’s Avowal is a money poem for Triond Writing Challenge Round 33 organized by Duff D Moss. Challenged words are “Behemoth” & “Jive Turkey”.

An Egomania’s Avowal

(Money on the back, image from Google Search)

I’m a behemoth that nobody can resist,
Powerful and insidious, truly the best,
A real master, whose orders people cannot desist,
My reign over humans is high up to the chest.

Any single wants to escape is a jive turkey.
Ha-ha, dare to think “run away from me will be free.”
So naïve, you will find no way, but damn is the key,
And all my ruthless followers will besiege thee.

My followers come from all walks of life forever.
I blind them with my doctrine “happiness is money”.
Ignore their Gods, they cheat and kill to win me ever,
Carry me on the back for full slavery, canny.

Come and surrender to me, I own you, my honey,
Sing my name wholeheartedly, “money, money, money.”
