on a scale so grand

Come to take you away

to that mystical land.

A place where magic is real

and mystery is true.

Where life is fair

and love is always true.

To an adult it may be a fantasy world

and nothing more,

But here I know that you are safe.

So sleep peacefully my sweet little boy.

Princesses in fairy tales

Come from foreign lands

To tell you of tales

that are magical and grand.

Princes and knights

of fairy tales come true.

Come through the world

to say goodnight to you.

To wish you sweet dreams

of hope and peace

That draw you into a peaceful sleep.

You will dream of carriages and horses,

of parties and balls, kings and queens

who are friends to all.

Sleep tight my little princess

as the night falls.

And as the night draws to an end

say goodnight, for me, to them all.
