On the importance of life.

Have you ever watched the children
Dancing under the sunlight in May
Or have you even listened the voice of rain drops
Or followed the sudden fly of butterflies
Or observed the sunrise or sunset

The better is
Be slow
And don’t dance rapidly
Time is short
And always aware of that
That music will end

Do you run towards every day you’ve passed
Or do you hear the reply
When I ask you how you are

At the end of all passing days
Do you lie down on your bed
With whole complacency

The better is
Be slow
And don’t dance rapidly
Time is short
And always aware of that
That music will end

Let’s be a good friend with death
Because we’ll have no time
To say good bye
Even to that good friend

Say, dont go around claiming that you wrote the Slow Dance poem. It was written by David L. Weatherford. Get real, creep..

    AlmarPhudd,

I looked up “Slow Dance” by David L. Weatherford, and it might have the same beat, but the words are different..Maybe, the author was inspired by that poem?

Amazing! Life is short, and so we pass it all by with our busy lives, and we don’t take a chance to look at all the splendors big or small the world surrounds us with.

Love your point of thought in this poem.
