This is a poem dwelling on an outlook or overview of the Tajmahal.
Poetry carved and chiseled out of marble
A sculpted definition to the essence of love
Magnificience and beauty commemorating lost love
Pain of irrepairable loss flowing through
Fine reticulate veins of blanche marble
Warmth of love long lost and dissipated
By the icy touch of sublime stone
And the silent copious tears wept
Cementing the slabs of marble together
Fountains sprinkle elixir as silver beads
Flowers bloom in the sun with redolent breath
The breeze humming melodies of love
And the moon that once witnessed a saga
Enchantingly enfold decades back on the banks of Yamuna
Now benignly smiles down with indulgence
Its platinum tipped fingers caressing
This verse engraved in sublime marble
While the spirits of lovers in embrace look on
At this testimony of their love standing proud
Through the parade of twinkling stars…
