Poem.

Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of addictions
With its inflictions upon the soundness of your mind
Was it a fiend or a friend?
Did you even comprehend
What means to what end
Did they intend, when they drew you in-To eternity
Spent in a blissfulness you’d be sure to miss
Stumble, Tumble, down from the mountain tops
Hop, Hop, Hop-Then stop
In the valley of endless thirst and cravings
From where there is no saving the soundness of your mind
Tattered from having to start over for the millionth time
Who did this to you?
Why haven’t I heard who has the final word and say
Over what bliss controls your world today?
Whining, Shinning, in the shadow of tomorrows sorry sorrows
Where we can’t borrow the soundness of a human mind
I’m running out of time to save you, You’re running out of time to save you
From yourself, and where else you might unconsidered go
And where by now I know- is a point of no return
Where no wretched lessons learned
No manly mannered concerns
Can rescue the soundness of a human mind
When it becomes cracked and fractured
In a rapture of decline
