A bit of a rant on the awesome power of water.
The title was given me by a friend.
As I make my way to the corner store
Feeling late summer soothe me
The odd socks I’m wearing
Somehow feel comfortable
At least.

I frowned upon my purchase…
Why, should I have too pay for something like water
Water after all, is a necessity of life, and as such
After it hits your head on the way down
It should not become part of a multi national company
Getting rich from a free source!

Yes, yes, yes I know life’s a hitch, well a whole lot of them
‘ but ‘
I’m living in a country, that has more water than it needs
‘ true ‘
We cant get rid of it quick enough, we have a great drainage system
Been building it for over 100 years
Modern drainage not your cutting dyke’s an things
More tunneling, and actual drain laying under ground
So we don’t tend to get the recent floods as bad as most do
‘ But ‘
It does bring it home to you that water
Water everywhere has no emotion not a care it is simply water.

It has the strength of well Water
As seen all over the globe near daily
You can hate it you can love it
But!
You can’t live without it.
….
Water is the whole essence of life
It can take you out in one gulp
Pick you up with one sip
There’s only one thing for it Water.
