A flow of rhymes I wrote with some political messages in it.
Hope you enjoy.
They say America America, We are the best
Well unless we’re talking about a literary test
Like shouldn’t we improve education?
“Well son, that’s a visionaries request”
I mean couldn’t you have guessed?
Cmon, there is a bodybuilder running a state out West
I’ve learned to expect nothing more
And everything less
Does the future look positive?
I couldn’t honestly answer yes…
Looking at the world, Yes I’m looking at it all
The whole things a horror scene, in the bathroom stall
Yea it can be some scary shit,
I was looking for another good reason to move to Amsterdam
Rick Perry’s it.
People are getting crazier at a crazy rate
Sayin’ they love Reagan, Shouldn’t they know about 88?
When he sold weapons to Suddam before he was gone then we blamed Islam
For leaving the middle east in such a crazy state
But they loved him in his movies when he had the baby-face
And it just may be fate
If people say he’s great
That we sit back and watch another empire erase
Slowly becoming defaced
Like Mount Rushmore’s erosion
Because after the towers explosion
We cried War and then we dove in
And now getting us out controls all the votin’
Politics mistaken for comedy?
I mean they must be fuckin’ jokin’
The Blue or the Red? Some everyday dude said
Which side should I choose? Which side is for me?
Well both of those sides are branches from the same tree
With a firm trunk and the roots far beneath
And that’s just the problem, Our roots we no longer see
Pesticides to its life, Until we are no longer free
And they proceed to say, Be all that you can be
So you can hopefully make up for what they’re not
Because the young fight wars when the old get caught
Then the past generations try to blame it all on the youth?
United we stand but divided we fall
Atleast that last part is the truth
