Looks at the problem of politics in America. Written in the same form that Dante wrote the Divine Comedy.

There are two groups that control our government

Supposedly opposites, but I don’t see any difference

Every score we hope for change and we act nicely reverent

But both just want to constrict, and help us at the same time

One protects our values, butt wants to control how we think

The other protects our values, but steals every nickel and dime

One controls the popular medium, the other doing work divine

“I’m fighting god’s crusade” says one, “I didn’t do her” said the other

Both must have the disease of the mad ovine

In the paper the other day I scan a story on Madonna

She insults, affronts, and reviles the Christians

Don’t take the old slut seriously, she just needs more dollar

She might be misunderstood, but don’t forget pat Robertson

He’s crazy, just like the slut of pop

He uses the name of Christ to make more Benjamin’s

Sorry to hate so much, I just don’t like extremists,

Hippy, no backbone liberals and racist, anti-Bambi conservatives both have many flaws

Remember that extremist rhymes with penis

I’ve brought up negatives a lot in this poem, just two more lines

Only most politicians do crap and they’ll end up in hell

Living in shit, they’ll be paying their fines

They can’t use their Visa, for paying their balance

It’s their narrow minds that will help them, burn to a crisp

We all need to live together like electrons in valence

One piece of the spectrum is stale, 4 makes it fresh

Freedom, desire, persistence, and love in the pie

Blend it together and you’ll taste America the best

Finally, both the left and the right are needed to reap in the cash,

The hippies make us caring and the rednecks make us strong

Whatever side you hail, just agree America kicks ass
