The fate of the Presidential candidates in the election.

This is the season of political shuffle,
Where candidates make the rounds.
Some candidates go up in the polls,
While others go right down.
One day Hillary looks so strong,
No candidate can compete.
Other times she hems and haws,
Her way to a resounding defeat
Barack Obama makes the rounds,
He speaks with grace and flare.
His tone of coming together,
Is not the sound of despair?
John Edwards stirs the public,
With a message to stop the war.
He also fights against corporate abuses,
His message cannot be ignored.
Rudy Giuliani speaks of trust,
But his past is very suspect.
The scandals have taken its toll,
And makes him difficult to elect.
Mitt Romney flips and flops,
His credibility is on the line.
His poll numbers have been sinking,
Which is a terrible sign.
Mike Huckabee feels the power,
That the Lord gives onto him.
But his blatantly right wing past,
Makes it unlikely that he will win.
John McCain is gathering strength,
His experience is a plus.
But he’s very short of money,
So his candidacy may be a bust.
Fred Thompson looks so droopy,
His speeches give you a yawn.
It won’t take long for voters,
To tell him that he’s gone.
As for the other candidates running,
Their chances of upsetting are slim.
In a while they’ll mostly be gone,
Because they have no chance to win.
