How can you respect
Politicians anymore?
Promises, promises,
Broken all the time.
The economy is sick,
And our nation is in decline.
Wages are not keeping up
With the rise in inflation.
Our deficits are growing,
Lowering our expectations.
The War in Iraq
Is a never-ending mess.
Calls for withdrawal
Are failing to be addressed.
Please change the direction
For our troubled nation.
It’s time that President Bush
Takes a permanent vacation.
