themselves they say it a game

that makes them fame

playing with citizens mind

in a way that seems kind

sometimes i wonder why

they are proud ro lie

i’ll build you roads

that will lead your goods abroad

during campaign they’ll say

just in a way

smart enough but later they betray

what they promised yesterday

seated in parliaments

after making all those comittments

with their minds relaxed

waiting for citizens to be taxed

so that they could earn

some times i wonder why 

they are proud to lie
