Portion is a path to enlightenment.
It gives us power over food. It Makes Us Into Buddhas.
Set limits with food.
Stay within boundaries as you eat it.
Tune in your body to see what it needs
and not what it don’t need.
Eat to live.
Don’t Live to eat!
Don’t have extra portions.
Set up check points to eating.
Portion is more than
how much food is on your plate.
It is how often you eat’
and how much food is on your fork or spoon.
Portion is how long we chew our food
and how often we stop during
a meal and find out if we really need
more food.
How often we pause between bites is Portion also.
Create boundaries
and set limits to eating.
This is mindful eating.
This is enlightenment
and the path to Buddhahood.
Save half the food for later,
or return half of it on an extra plate to the garbage,
via the waitress or waiter,
before you
start to eat your meal.
Rememeber real waste
is eating more than you need
not throwing it in the garbage.
