A poem of possession over the mind, heart, and soul.
It first appeared through strange actions,
Actions only the observant eyes saw.
It then made out through suspicious speech,
Speech only the keen ears heard.
It was then that I knew it had taken over my mind,
But if it had taken my mind, what did I really know?
It was then that I felt it had taken over my heart,
But if it had taken my heart, what did I really feel?
I questioned myself over and over,
And sure enough, due to my being unsure,
I lost myself; lost in insanity.
It was then that the insane had taken over my soul.
It was then that I became possessed; possessed by insanity.
