The real story of a manual worker, Today, in the UK and in America! He just exists, in a one room flat, which he cannot afford to heat! His only employment is to pick potatoes on a local field by hand and they will bleed! This is the UK and America Today! Forget the Stock Market Multi- Billion News, this is how many ordinary people live, now.

I
have
just
one,
light bulb on!
It
is
all,
I can afford!
I
put
on,
my next coat!
It
is
laying,
on top of me!
And
I
shiver!
It
is
early,
morning outside!
As
I
wash and shave,
fully
clothed!
It is,
just another day,
for me!
Of
toil!
Of
manual
work!
In
a
cold field
of
potatoes!
Where
I
know,
my
hands
will
bleed!
In yet
another Winter
of
my
sorrow!
And
so
I
switch off,
the
one
light,
I
have
in
my
room,
and
walk
into
the morning’s
half
light!
I
stumble
two miles,
to
my
employment,
with
no
enjoyment!
I
leave my one
room,
so
cold
and dark
now!
