A prayerful morning by the sea.

You’ve spoken to me in the presence,

with the primordial voice and intention

of those who love.

Sketching the winds, celestial seagulls

have drawn a smile held on the breeze.

They silently seek

my words as we pray for warm bread.

The fragrant table graces the morning

with much thought

for the poor, the needy, and the unloved.

The seagulls keep crying against the roar

of the clear blue sea.

A very good point/ perspective on writing “breakfast”. It was such a fun way to write in this manner. Great work! Liked it!

Excellent early morning poetry. Makes the coffee smell better.

That is so lovely. You can’t beat having breakfast by the sea.

A very fine piece. I could fell and see the seas and the servings. Very serene and wish to live in such a place.
