The only pressure I have is not to let you down

I hate it when your smile turns upside down

it means I have broken your heart

and attacked the precious thing I aim to guard

I never intentionally mean to cause you strife

but occasionally get bogged down with life

and then I get thoughtless and cause hurt

to the one person who does not deserve it
