The lid slams on my pressure cooker

too much has been added to the mix

Far too much for me to ever fix

I need to find a way to release it

I need something to help relieve it

Give me some help, maybe a hand

Let me see it differently and understand

Things do not have to be this way

they can be dealt with in a different way
