As Japan goes through some of the worst events in history, her people, who have a strength shown to be phenomenal, will show the world that Japan is tough and flexible and eternal!
PREVAILING SUN
Nippon, land of spring,
Cherry blossoms now come forth,
As shaking moves us;

Land of rising sun,
Entering time of flowers,
Cut by water sword;
*****
Jewel of brightest green,
Seasons split, earth and sea,
Radiant blossoms;
*****
Battered and bloodied,
Beauty reclaimed eternal,
We will rise with sun.
