Although I am facing losing my job I am going to keep my pride by acting a lady and rising above it.
I am going to do it with my head held high
hold back my thoughts and not even cry
Although my emotions rage deep inside
all I can salvage is my pride
I will not let my morals wander and stray
I will keep true to myself today
