I now hate the term “proactive”
Should we look at issues before they happen?
Rather than only react and only respond?
Sure, why not!
Sounds Good!
And why don’t we
Save 3 months’ salary
Eat Right
Get Regular Exercise and
Regular Sleep
Not spend our children’s inheritance
Write that book
Build that shed
Actually do our day jobs when we said we would
Instead, I hereby propose
We abandon pro-activity
Let’s admit we won’t be doing ANYTHING proactively
REACT I say,
Let the Banks fail, our pensions disappear and THEN take some action
Let’s go to war and THEN make a plan
Let’s build our own personal Credit Card Mountain of Dept and THEN figure out how to pay for it
Sit Back.  Relax
Wait for the RIGHT moment
Then react
