Procrastination

The sun is setting,

It’s time to get cracking

Tonnes of work to be done-

Gone are the hours of fun.

The vacation will soon come to an end,

School days lurk just around the bend.

The homework lies untouched on my desk,

As I sneak out for yet more rest.

I switch on the TV,

Mom nags at me.

Bedtime comes,

I’m left with many unfinished sums.

What am I to do?

How will I pull through?

This will never do!
