A murderer just can’t seem to commit this crime.

He was full of rage,

as she rattled his cage,

he stared incredulously at her

as his eyes filled with comprehension,

fear was near,

but she didn’t care,

and her judgement was impaired,

her mind filled,

and he tried to kill,

she had mental convulsions, fits,

prolonged suffering,

outbursts,

as his temper sits,

she would laugh then cry,

and he would still try,

waving the knife closer to her eye,

then she’d whisper and shout,

he gives up and just walks out.

A strange one–but, at last, one in which the victim survives.
