The end of a friendship.

Let it Burn

Wandering, on wooden bridges.
Many an evening, has hung.
Groans from the grain, speaking stiff.
About flame.
Knotted, rest now, tired tongue.

Vibrant & Violent

Last glance, dancing ashes.
Remember?
But an ember.
Dead bolts and latches.
Heart hidden in pockets.
Still heavy, with matches.
