Everyone goes through something in life. I wrote this because at one time I had lost everything including my children. King David in the Bible also had his own problems. He was a shephard who eventually became sought after by king Saul. He also lost a child due to his sins. He had a close relationship with God and he spent a lot of time writing Psalms and prayers. Psalms was his life. His words were a part of him. I learned in life everything can be taken from you, but your words and your beliefs. It is the same with David. When he was going through trials, and tribulations he still had his beliefs and his words which are portrayed in the Psalms he wrote.
Every pen stroke
every word
he wrote
became his soul
embedded eternally
in his mind
to live to die
for
every praise
every prayer
became valuable
to his heart
he could loose his kingdom
loose his wife
loose his son
but never ever loose his God
“god be not far from me”
he cried
his prayer was
“Lord create in me a clean heart,
an upright spirit”
every word became his world
when in fear
“lord deliver me from my enemies”
Never tear his words out of his book
Without them he would be lost
For they are his spirit
Every word
every pen stroke
becomes a part of his life.
