Many times, the mind is bedeviled with a whole lot of stuff running through it demanding for attention, and all that. Sometimes, we just find it difficult to recall what we are really thinking. This poem hits it!! Enjoy.

I have it all out

And here it goes again

The real me though unseen

The turf bigger without

Flesh can’t contain

Though I daily manage

To hold all three together.

I have split personae

This real me you cant see

Not raving nor ranting

Aint  insane nor blabbing

But you see, you don’t

Know, feel or have me

‘cause I am schizophrenic!

I get mad a little bit,

Muse, blush and mutter too

Even when I’m by myself

Yes! With no one watching

Blowing out kisses

To heaven- knows sissy

-please don’t mind me

I’m just beside myself

Because I have it all out.

I’m a little bit psycho

Though I need no med

Nor LSD nor hypnotism

I just see things you know

And say up mutter you don’t,

Maybe you don’t mind

But I’ve got personae

That makes me need reading.

Now all these are me

In bid to need a reading

Plus the nature of beings

As it befalls all men

Alas! We all are infested

With a little dose of it

A schizo-bit flu, you get

A split me I don’t know

Maybe we all need it

A reading from the other side

God knows who reads

A mortal being the doctor?

Hell no! But from whence?

Whence cometh this life reader?
