Suicde.

Sitting on the front porch drinking his pain away or at least trying to

He’s tired of every little girl hurting him, every girl’s been using him

Thinks every one’s the same, where to go from here

He looks up at the midnight sky and starts to cry, does he know she’s been there the whole time

She’s been at his side, been his best friend

But he ignores and keeps drinking every night to forget them

Every night is a night of pain and tears, but he don’t admit it to himself

She says I’m here for you, you can call me if you want to

When you’re feeling down just talk to me, no need to be alone everynight

But he just says I’m fine, don’t worry about me

So he just goes his one way, just doesn’t want to deal with this right now

If he were to open his eyes he would see, all the lies he’s been seeing

She’s been hiding her true feelings for him, but he doesn’t know

He throws the beer down and the glass breaks, glass everywhere on the floor

Goes into the shed, looks for his pride and joy

A pistol in the tool box, he starts load it and thinks about everything wrong with life

Everything that’s killing him, so he sits in the chair and smokes one more time

But she’s starts driving her truck down to her place to say hi

She knocked no one answered, so she goes to the shed and finds him

Finds what he’s about to do, runs behind him and takes the gun

She starts crying, saying why were you about to kill yourself

I’m here for you, please don’t do this

He looks down at her and starts thinking what was I thinking

He says to her you saved my life, I was about to pull the trigger and end it but you came

Maybe it’s a sign of something, he pulls her to him an holds her till she stops crying

Then he pulls her lips to his, kisses her all night long

The next morning, they smile at each other they both say

You’ve saved my life, thank you so much

What was I thinking, you’ve been here all along

He loves her and she loves him
