In an effort to write an haiku on every subject imaginable, I give you one for the up coming American holiday of Thanksgiving.

A new world fruit,

Heavy with pie to follow,

Waiting on the vine.

I like the idea of writing haikus on every subject. I try to do that with poems. I love this haiku.
