This phrase just came rumbling up the stairs one day.
This is a Triolet, an older French form of poem with rhyme scheme: ABaAabAB where capital letters represent entire lines that are repeated and small letters are rhymes with the initial corresponding letter. The triolet is not meant to treat profound emotions, but is more dependent on turn of phrase, and is almost always playful or sly.
“I’m tryin’,” she yelled, “to find a pair
of purple under-wear!”
“Purple?” “Yes!” She pulled her hair,
“I’m tryin’,” she yelled, “to find a pair
of purple ones!” “The kitchen chair?”
”No. That’s a greenish-pear!
I’m tryin’,” she yelled, “to find a pair
of purple under-wear!”
