My daughters husband is Hispanic and I had my granddaughter all weekend speaking Spanglish and talking my ear off. It is funny you would write about “Spanglish” this morning. I enjoyed it well. Thank you.

Growing up in So. California exposes you to many Latinos, there culture, language and delicious foods.

I was quasi fluent at one point but when my relationship with the person that spoke Spanish as a 1st language ended, so did my practice partner.

I keep telling myself I am going to take a course and learn it again.
