For those conversationalist that know how to beat around the bush.

If I call will you answer?
I listen for your question
But the phone doesn’t ring
Silence is golden or so I’ve been told
Why do I feel the need to be cold?
Who told you to act with such disdain?
Meekness can keep attention’s venue
But only when she’s sincere
All this time I thought you knew
Silly I didn’t mean to assume
The confusion we caused will be easy to assess
Please prescribe the answer if you know what is best
If only you knew, then would you?
I know you don’t want to leave
wondering where will you go?
Could you fend off a decade of silence?
Upon your return what would you say?

I ask you again what would you say?
