Not saying a word

Even though my heart aches for you

My heart breaks

Every time you are with her

God the things I would give

Just to be the one you come home to

To hold you in the dark

The way you hold her

Not knowing where I stand

My heart breaks when we do not talk

Silent you stay

Not knowing what to say

I love you so much I dont want to let you go

I do not know if you truly do love me

Or if that is just words to pacify me

I so want it to be

Now I am carrying your child inside me

Growing each and every day

And you wont say a word to me .

What am I to think

Will you be there or not

Only time will tell

Do you want us to be

Forever and Always

I have always thought that you would be

Be there to hold me through the toughest of storms

But now I do not know

Soon your child will be asking where is daddy

And I will have to say I do not know my child

Is that what you want

As your son takes his first steps in life

Will you be there

To walk, guide and protect him

So many questions

And not enough time to know the answers
