Silent thoughts:
Falling into the quicksand of silence
So quickly it engulfs my soul
Frustration at being unable to do anything
No plans
No thoughts
All that’s there is, is the loudness of the silence
Feet glued firmly to the spot
Immobility of the heart as the beat slows to extinction
Finally covered until the sands show no blemish
Just as if I was never here
