There’s no doubt in my mind
That I was wrong,
But it seemed like
I couldn’t stop.
Soon enough, I finally did.
It was the best thing
I could do for myself,
I feel like a better person.
Finally, life has meaning.
Without drugs in my life,
I’m getting to know me
And not someone else.
I should have never used,
But now I don’t,
And I’m glad to be me.
