Feeling rage is a serious thing and caused by many contributing factors. There is help out there for the taking.

I never thought

that I would experience

what it was like

to feel enraged.

Like an animal caged.

Disappointment causes many emotions

as well as many notions.

Like a bomb

ready and waiting.

From so much hating.

Negative feelings day and night.

I sometimes forget about the light

and what my true mission is here.

All things are exchanged with fear

which is empty and dark,

no where near my intended mark.

It eats away the insides

like a disease latched on for the ride.

It can lie hidden

until the very last minute,

and then everything goes

with nothing forbidden.

Not a very good sight

and not a very good feeling.

I must try with all of my might

to stand and win this fight.

DB…I can identify…I can become outraged at the drop of a pin and shortly after I’m calm again…one thing I do lnow…intense moments of rage can be very hard on the teeth. I have even chipped mine in teeth clinched during a moment of outrage. The dentist likes when I get angry because then he gets to do extra work on my teeth!!! Because I can identify so well with what you have penned here, I have voted that I Like It. Thank you for taking the time to write and submit this for publication. I think many could use it as a personal mantra in coming to terms with their own outbursts of anger or rage.

latest and worst disease is ROAD RAGE

DONT FIGHT WITH SUCH RAGED GUYS

    JUST SMOOTHLY TACKLE THEM

    SAY SORRY AND MOVE ON

THEY R ALREADY IN A STATE OF MADNESS

    GIVE THEM WAY

I think we can all identify with this. Many a wrong word spoken in rage. Sometimes better to count to ten, breathe deep and look at the bigger picture before responding. Anger or wanting someting we may not be able to have is a very cruel emotion, some react with rage, some have to try and walk away quietly and bury their true feelings.

    Well written again Barbara.
