A poem from ma classes…

Drifting spasmodically through the air

With darkened smiles and overcast thoughts,

Like angels bringing tidings of despair,

Promises abundant, fulfillment naught.

Staining windowpanes,

                                   Someone cries,

Lay in a board box, still and wide-eyed.

Orion and Hercules battle on Mars,

                                                      Twinkling lights,

                                                                              Shimmering stars.

But yet…

                                                         The earth smiles exuberantly,

Lush green vegetation decorates its face,

And all rejoice, In Excelsis Deo,

For the Almighty’s favour and refreshing Grace.
